Captain America: Brave New World – My Honest Review (Spoilers)

I saw Captain America: Brave New World on opening weekend in Dolby at an AMC theater, and I have a lot of thoughts. I didn’t want to rush through this review because I really wanted to process everything about the movie. There will be spoilers, so consider this your warning! My First Impressions I was at San Diego Comic-Con when Marvel announced this movie, and I even got to see an early clip teasing Adamantium, the rare metal from the Marvel universe, playing a major role. Michelle Trachtenberg, ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘Buffy’ Actress, Dies at 39

Police officers, responding to a 911 call, found her unresponsive in a Manhattan apartment on Wednesday morning, the authorities said.

Michelle Trachtenberg, best known for her role as Dawn, Buffy’s younger sister, in the dark, comedic series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and as the scheming socialite on Gossip Girl, has passed away at the age of 39, according to the New York Police Department.

The department stated that officers responded to a 911 call shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday and found Trachtenberg unresponsive and unconscious in a Manhattan apartment. She was declared dead by emergency medical personnel who also arrived on the scene. The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner, though no foul play is suspected.

Trachtenberg's career began in her childhood, and she built a long list of notable credits in film and television that won the hearts of fans across generations.

In 1996, she played Harriet Welsch, an inquisitive 11-year-old who closely observes her neighbors and classmates in the movie Harriet the Spy, based on Louise Fitzhugh’s beloved 1964 children's book. The film also starred Rosie O'Donnell as Harriet’s nanny, Ole Golly.

Additionally, Trachtenberg played the lead role of Casey Carlyle, a determined figure skater, in the 2005 film Ice Princess. Her other notable projects included the 2004 teen comedy Eurotrip and the 2009 film 17 Again, in which she starred alongside Zac Efron and Matthew Perry.
